Il museo è allestito in un annesso di Villa Correr e custodisce al suo interno una raccolta di utensili, oggetti, suppellettili e macchinari un tempo impiegati dagli abitanti della zona, che rappresenta l’espressione di una realtà contadina e artigianale locale.

Il museo è organizzato in due grandi sezioni: una inerente alla casa e alla vita familiare, l’altra dedicata alle attività lavorative. Nella prima sono stati ricreati alcuni degli ambienti più caratteristici delle case coloniche: la cucina, con i diversi oggetti d’uso quotidiano per preparare il pane, la pasta e il burro; la camera da letto, con i mastelli per lavare la biancheria; la cantina, con i tini, i frantoi e le botti; la rimessa, con i finimenti per gli animali.

La sezione dedicata alle attività lavorative espone invece gli attrezzi tipici suddivisi per tipologie di mestieri: il contadino, con le prime macchine agricole, il fabbro, il falegname, il maniscalco, il calzolaio; vi si trova anche uno spazio dedicato alla lavorazione dei tessuti e uno ai pesi e alle misure.

Scodosia Ethnographic Civic Museum

The museum is housed in an annex of Villa Correr. It holds a collection of tools, items, furnishings, and equipment once used by the area's inhabitants that are the expression of the local artisans' and farmers' reality. The museum is organized into two major sections: one regarding house and family life, the other dedicated to working activities. In the first area, some of the most characteristic environments of the farmhouses have been recreated: the kitchen, with the different objects for making bread, pasta, and butter; the bedroom, with tubs for washing laundry; the basement, with vats, olive-presses, and barrels; and the depot, with farnesses for animals. 
Instead, the section dedicated to work activities exposes specific tools divided by type of profession: the farmer and the first agricultural machinery; the blacksmith, the carpenter, the farrier, and the cobbler; there are also spaces dedicated to tissue processing, weight, and measurements.
